We couldn't be more thrilled to celebrate our wedding day with you! Portland is one of our favorite places to vacation and we can't wait to share a weekend there.

Our story began in 2016, when we met at work in Chicago. We initially connected over being UW-Madison alumni and became friends over 3 years of working together and attending office happy hours. We liked each other but were both too scared to make a move, despite constantly being asked by coworkers what was going on between us!

Eventually, a mutual friend's birthday party landed us at Kingston Mines, a legendary blues club in Chicago, where we danced the night away and confessed our feelings for each other.

After a few months of dating, the pandemic started and Matt went to Wisconsin to be with his family, while Madeline went to Florida to be with hers. We managed to maintain our relationship via FaceTime for 4 months during quarantine, and we were so excited to be reunited back in Chicago a few months later.

The past several years have brought us lots of moves, job and career changes, our hilarious pup Harry, our place in West Loop, and incredible adventures and memories along the way. We feel so lucky to be sharing our lives and to have support from loved ones, and we are so grateful to be able to celebrate our wedding with you!
